Electro-acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is applying mild electrical stimulation on needles inserted on specific acupuncture points. The electrical impulses can travel along the nerve pathways, through the blood and fascia to stimulate the brain to release neurotransmitters that provide pain relief, anti inflammation and hormones.

Chinese Herbs
Chinese herbal formulas are available in conjunction with other therapies to help the body to restore itself to a natural state of balance
Cupping

Cupping is an ancient Chinese method of causing local congestion. A partial vacuum is created in cups placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction. This draws up the underlying tissues. When the cup is left in place on the skin for a few minutes, blood stasis is formed and localized healing takes place.
Cupping therapy has been further developed as a means to open the 'Meridians' of the body. Meridians are the conduits in the body through which energy flows to every part of the body and through every organ and tissue.
Cupping has been found to affect the tissues, causing the tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clearblockages, help activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, activate the skin, clear stretch marks and improve varicose veins. Cupping is the best deep tissue massage available. Cupping can produces discoloration on the skin's surface frome the suction that is applied-it can look like a circular bruise, but will dissipate in a few days.

Facial Rejuvenation
A therapeutic treatment that delivers safe, painless, low-level electrical impulses to strategic locations under the skin to firm and tone the facial muscles on both an immediate and long-term basis. The technology simultaneously repairs collagen in the dermis (the deepest layer of the skin), while gently erasing signs of aging in the epidermis (the top layer of skin). As we age, our electrical impulses slow down causing aging and sagging facial skin. Microcurrent works in harmony with the natural bio-electrical currents naturally found in our bodies to help speed up the cellular regenerative process resulting in firmer, healthier, more youthful looking skin.
Gua Sha

Gua sha therapy (Scraping therapy) is an ancient Chinese traditional natural therapy and is based on the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), By scraping the skin of the relevant parts of the human body with the tools of horns , jade or other material, We can get the purpose of promoting blood circulation and dredging meridians. With the skin being scraped by a gua sha tool, The skin will be raised small red petechiae which called 'sha' in chinese ,and the "sha"will fade within 2 or 3 days. By Raising sha, the capillaries will be highly dilated and it will enhance the sweat secretion and circulation of the body blood. It will helps to remove blood stagnation which considered pathogenic and promote body metabolic processes.
Gua sha has immediate effect for Hypertension, stiffness, heat stroke, fever, cough, chill, nausea, and muscle pain caused by cold syndrome. The patient will experience immediate relief from above symptom after gua sha tehrapy.By performing gua sha regulary, we also can coordinate the "qi" of the body, relieve fatigue and enhance immune function of the body.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is based on a rule of nature called the Law of Similars. This law states that "like cures like," or that a medicine can cure a sick person if it can cause a similar sickness in a healthy person. For instance, if you peel an onion, your eyes burn, itch and water. You might also have a runny nose and begin to sneeze. If you had similar symptoms during a cold or allergy attack, such as a runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing, a homeopathic micro-dose of the remedy Allium cepa (red onion) would help your body heal itself.
The homeopath regards symptoms as the body’s healthy attempt to restore itself to balance. That is why a homeopath will choose a remedy that supports the symptoms—rather than opposing them or suppressing them as in conventional medicine. In conventional medicine, a cold or hayfever sufferer is given an antihistamine to dry up the runny nose and watery eyes artificially. But this medication often comes with unpleasant side effects like sleepiness and constipation. With the correct homeopathic remedy, however, there are no side effects and a person is restored to health naturally.
Moxibustion

What is moxibustion?
Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called "moxa" are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.
Moxa is usually made from the dried leafy material of Chinese mugwort (Artemesia argyi or A.vlugaris), but it can be made of other substances as well.
What exactly does the practitioner do?
The practitioner holds a burning moxa stick close to, but not touching, the surface of the skin.
In this method, the moxa material is compressed into a stick or pole, looking not unlike an oversized cigar that can be lit and allowed to smolder, producing a unique form of very penetrating heat.
The smoldering moxa stick is held over specific areas, often, though not always, corresponding to certain acupuncture points. The glowing end of the moxa stick is held about an inch or two above the surface of the skin until the area reddens and becomes suffused with warmth.

Moxibustion can also be used by placing the moxa directly on the top of the needle, at the needle insertion site or directly on the skin. A special ointment is used on the skin to prevent burns.

What can I expect to feel?

It is not uncommon for patients receiving moxibustion to report a sudden flooding of warmth that quickly radiates along a specific pathway (usually corresponding with the jing luo channel that is being treated) away from the site of application. This is a good result, as it indicates the arrival of the Qi and signals that the flow of Qi and xue has been freed in the channel.
When is moxibustion used?

Moxibustion is used for:
Pain due to injury or arthritis, especially in "cold" patterns where the pain naturally feels better with the application of heat
Digestive problems and irregular elimination
Gynecological and obstetrical conditions, including breech presentation in late term pregnancy
Protection against cold and flu strains
Practitioners often do both acupuncture and moxibustion in the same clinic session when appropriate to the diagnosis and treatment strategy. Practitioners believe that the therapies increase each other's effectiveness when used together.
